Forum Guidelines [Closed] Posting Guidelines for New Members

Hello and welcome to our cannabis forum! We're excited to have you here as a part of our community. In this post, we'd like to provide some guidelines for posting on our forum, to help ensure that our discussions are productive, informative, and respectful.

When creating a new post, please keep in mind the following guidelines:

1. Stay on topic: Make sure your post is relevant to the discussion at hand. If you're not sure whether your post is on topic, take a moment to read through the existing discussion and see if your point relates to what others are talking about.

2. Be clear and concise: When writing your post, be clear and to the point. Use proper grammar and punctuation, and try to avoid using excessive capitalization, bolding, or other formatting that may be difficult to read.

3. Use descriptive titles for new threads: When starting a new thread, please use titles that are descriptive to the subject of your post. But at the same time, please do not make the titles of your threads too long. Make it easy for fellow forum member to read and understand what your thread is about. 

4. Respect others' opinions: As we discuss cannabis and its uses, it's important to remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. If you disagree with someone, please do so in a respectful and constructive manner. Personal attacks or insults will not be tolerated.

5. Be mindful of language: While we encourage open discussion and debate, we ask that all members refrain from using hate speech or derogatory language towards any groups or individuals. This includes but is not limited to language that is racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic.

6. Avoid promoting illegal activity: While we recognize that cannabis laws can vary widely from place to place, we do not condone illegal activity. Please avoid discussing or promoting any illegal activity in your posts.

7. Follow the rules: Finally, we ask that all members follow our community guidelines and any additional rules or guidelines that may be specific to certain discussion boards. If you're unsure about whether your post follows the rules, please review the guidelines or label your post as private, and ask a moderator for assistance.

8. Refrain from posting links: You will need more than 50 posts before you can post links in the forum. But when you have the ability to post links, please be careful of what links you post. We prefer that you only post internal links to forum pages from this site. If you need to post a link outside of the forum, please ask the mod and admin team if it is suitable before posting or it may be removed. 
9. Commenting on Grow Diaries: When commenting on grow diaries, please make sure your replies relate to the grow diary in question. Do not post questions about your grow or leave links to any posts. Be respectful of the original poster and only post to comment about their grow or ask questions about their grow. 

By following these guidelines, we can create a forum that is informative, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone. They may be updated at anytime, so please check back here regularly to keep up to date with any new forum guidelines.
