So I'm just putting it out there may sound crazy or overthinking or being adventurous lol . I'm currently still running 24hr lighting as they say to give your girls a better chance of growing . So I thought about it the other day as I'm growing autos this time . Could I change my lighting to 18.6 at 4 weeks when they are due to flower in turn would that give the plant time to recover and focus on budding up ? Would you still get a decent yield?  🤔 just thought I'd throw it out there to get a discussion and opinions peace out remember......

Stay safe stay high 💚💚💚

I always used to run 20/4 with autos, a lot of breeders recommend that as the optimum. Dropping from 24/0 to 20/4 or 18/6 is not gonna hurt them.

I have been doing 24/0 in my first and 2nd grow that is now finishing, 3rd Grow started and the future is going to be 20/4 instead, I don't think there is a gain worth it unless you have very good control over everything else as well.

24hr is not a good thing in my eyes...all plants require a darkness period when they slow the production of chlorophyl to actually use the created energy and grow the plant...I have heard the genetic arguement that its not needed but dont believe it one bit...this is cell/root/leaf growth time
