I forgot all about planning for this until this week when I'm away four nights next week

I think asking the neighbour who is feeding the cats is a bad idea.

So far, I already have 4 XL classic blumats so I can use those. Though I've not tried them before.

I ordered some more cheap copies of these and some of those bottle dripper things.

Need to get this dialled in by Monday morning for four mid grow 500ml per day ish autos!

Any experience to share?

@teleman I've been using the Tropf Blumat's (the one with the adjuster dial in top). I'm not sure how different they function from the Classic, but installed mine when I flipped them to flower and they have been working Great, save the time I let the reservoir run empty. But can't blame them for that LOL

(edit) I have 2 each installed in 3 gallon Cloth pots....

@mr_kryton yeah the classic version is just the carrot on a tube and relies on the height of the reservoir and the sucking of the ceramic sort of thing.

@teleman I've found a few posts about the Classics, but not much. Seems they are more dependent on the res height to plant height for adjustment to get them dialed in. Sorry, not much help.

Well that went well. I can highly recommend the blumat carrots. They probably watered more consistently than me and all is lush on arriving home

I would say I'm not sure if the biobizz type nutes would work as they are bit viscose. I used the canna mineral stuff for feeding

Yeah I had 2 classic XLs or 3 smaller cheap copies in each pot. Seemed to work well. It was a bit of a squeeze to fit a Res in the tent though.

I've removed them now and in the hole you can see this spiral of white roots looking nice a healthy.
