Questions Autopots

@chickenlizard I have never used them but heard many people get good results. I think coco needs to be fed from the top to prevent salt build up and you should get run off with every feed, which doesn't happen with auto pots. But as I said, many growers have done well with them. Flushing every week or so and keeping the feed low seems to work so give it a shot if you think it'll work for you 

@macky yeah that's right with the salt build up but like you said low EC and a flush every now and then.  That's what I was thinking give it a go see how it goes 😂 

@chickenlizard If you want to bottom feed with Coco I would personally recommend making some hempy buckets.  Super easy and cheap to make and perfect for Coco grows.  

@shonuff Hempy as in fabric pots. I was going to use fabric pots instead of the plastic pots.  

@chickenlizard I have seen some schematics with fabric pots inside of plastic hempy pot online a few places.   Pretty cool setup, not sure if it works.   Basically using plastic pot as the reservoir and wicking up through fabric pots that sits on top of it.  

I've been growing with the hempy bucket system and have had very good results, certianly worth a go

Heard lots of good reports on Automotive but never used them. I am going 10L hempy buckets when I kick off again because they are simple and effective. Grown a lot in perlite but never in coco, I am reading a lot on it as we speak. It seems if you reduce the EC a bit and flush from the top with run off once a week you should get away with it
