bit the bullet and went LED

Hi people, 

I was going to buy CMH for a new grow but lashed out and went HLG 600w instead. 

The back story,

I grew for years down here in Australia both indoor and out all through the 90's.

Ended up having our first child early 2000s and we both decided to pack everything up. I used 600whps with MH and T5s for vege( I still have all this stuff)

Fast forward the kids are gone and I want to resume my hobby. I used to grow vertical style flood and drain and was planning on resuming this style with new updated CMH style fixtures. I ended up down a rabbit hole and started looking at the results with new LED tech but it didn't really suit the vertical style as the light only shine on one side. The one benefit was great light spectrum, the ability to turn it up or down and less heat. I live in the semi tropics. I guess I am going back to traditional style scrog  with flood and drain. I might even do some comparisons with the 2 lights

I ended up purchasing stuff from Hlg with a 600 w assembly and 5 65w smaller fixtures for vege. The wife nearly had a heart attack when she saw the price a far cry from the cheap ballast fixtures of the 90s
