Bloody slightly cold winter

@naamk yep has been a touch chilly these last few weeks. Early morning starts are getting harder 🤣 I bought one of those heated tradie jackets for when I ride the road bike, best purchase ever lol, now to find heated go fast pants hahahha

@bubblehok bought a touring bike years ago with heated handgrips. I scoffed at the idea trying to be a hard cunt. I used them all the time that first winter

@naamk I'm due to upgrade my bike, I have ridden dirt bikes for years but only recently bothered to get a road licence, so part of the training as you know is that your not allowed to ride a big boy bike for a certain period of time. So when I can afford the upgrade I. Going to a yammie MT10 and slapping all the heated goodies on it lol 

@bubblehok got my under 250cc licence in 1989 at the local copshop in QLD. I rode the  Yamaha IT 250 to the station. Copper walked out and said ride it around the block. Had many dirt bikes and road bikes over the years. I can't be trusted with high HP road bikes anymore. I need my licence

@naamk yep unfortunately I had to go through the new system lol had my opens for a while and have ruden plenty of big bikes but only decided to do it "legally" during the pandemic, less eyes on me the better lol 

@bubblehok what dirt bikes have you owned?

@naamk first bike was a 87 dt100, then I bought a 2004 rmz 250, then a few thumpsters and a 350 vtwin banshee quad, currently have 2 x 98 kx250 2 strokes, one standard and the other bored out to a 300cc. And my current road bike is a 2014 yamaha MT07. Hbu?  

@bubblehok nice line up. I was always into Enduro bikes back in the day. You could legally ride your bike out in the bush and the ride home dirty and tired. 

Started out on a YZ80J, went to RM 125 '83. Then stuck with IT Yammies. I wish I still owned some of them 😞

Road bikes were Yammies 600 then 1000, had Suzuki 750 in between

@naamk very nice bro, I grew up just north of Newcastle so had all of Stockton dunes and the bush tracks out Cooranbong etc to play on, used to regularly get chased by rangers lol luckily never caught but a few mates got stung and lost their bikes and a few lads got really hurt so they clamped down on it. I just ride in mates property or my own now if I'm playing with the motocross bikes. But road bikes when I was young were always risky without a licence lol, didn't stop us stupid younglings running amok 🤣

A 1000 anything, will show you the face of god. lol  As long as you can hang on, your body feels like a flag in the wind. I rode street and some dirt but mainly street and I had about every favor of bike in all sizes. What a ride!!
