You Probably already do this but run your  tent in off peak hours  as much as you can it may differ where you are but midnight to 7am is where electric is cheeper to use

On topic really...

I've been trying to guesstimate DLI using the resources I have. Which is a cheap lux meter and Android apps

I calibrated the lux on the Photone app and checked the DLI reading. It's at 42 with the lights on 40%, this is far higher than I imagined.

Has anyone here actually got a proper ppfd meter?

The light is 300w ats lumatek. Efficacy 2.3 µmol/J, 690 µmol/s PPF btw,
