I've decided my next grow will be attempting 4 different photoperiod feminised plants in coco for the first time.

Because I have 2m height now I feel I could stretch to using 19.5L Air pots.

Reading up while high on coco growing here i noticed mentioned using up 20% coco, how many 50L bags would I need to purchase?

Also would it be advised to buy smaller air pots like 4x7L and transplant during veg cycle to 19.5L

Also assume all my current nutes from Dutch pro okay to use with coco apart from the soil AnB, which is the cheaper side nutes anyway.

go for 100% coco in air pots mate, no need for powerlite.

15l will be plenty, four plants in a pot that size, will fill you tent, trust me, ive been there, you dont want more than four, in 15L air pots.

Strart of in 0.5L small plastic normal pots, then go tino 5l airpots for veg. After a few weeks, transplant into 15l airpots, give them a week to recover and grow more root, then flip them.

you said 20% coco, i thought you meant perlite. For a coco grow mate you use 100% coco, you can mix it with soil, but that makes it a soil grow. The nuits you have will be fine for coco too

I did actually meant 10-20% washing the coco, loose bits tend to come out, so consider this when buying for preparation?

I was going buy a bag of perlite aswell for the coco, should I not?

I'm all out soil now so will go away from that to try coco didnt intend to mix the two, only thought I had was clay pebbles at bottom?

Air pots and coco is all you need man, no need to add anything else get two 50l bags of coco, thatll be plenty:

Coco Link

4 x 15L Airpots

There you go mate

In my opinion 5l is too big go for a 3l first, pot should grow with plant.

True, buts its not easy to find 3l air pots. The roots grow quick in coco too, it'll fill out fast with some rhizotonic, otherwise your transplanting three times in the grow, 3- 15L seems too much of a jump too, so you would have to do another transplant in between? How do you do yours mate?

With another transplant.  I am just setting up a coco grow so I got my boss helping me. Sometime when you go to big your roots will spread thin and forget about getting thick. But you can only do what your able to get I’m now lucky to have a choice of everything. I also have pre soaked my coco in super b but don’t use rhizotonic. What are the benefits to rhizo or is it just organic sea shit with vitamins b added? I haven’t cloned yet but that’s where I’m heading.

Perhaps I could go for the 3l, 7l and 15l? Seems good jumps. I've already paid arm and leg why stop now.

Here it is mate, good stuff man, makes roots grow like fingers lol. I don't like to disturb the root zone much, so transplant only twice, selling/ early veg pot, veg and late veg pot, transplant into flowering pot around a week or two before flip. Don't think i could fit another transplant in tbf;)

Mmmmm, I’m going to look into more thanks. No one likes disturbing roots I’ve just heard a lot about too many salts building up when you have extra space and that’s where the vitamin b comes into play to reduce stress in between transplants and up until flower.  This is sooooo much fun!! I can’t believe I love learning again!

Ok wow, rhizosphere bacteria! I got it in my plantacillin. I’m gonna use it for sure, sounds like it’s liquid yogurt for plants.

I used to use great white, then started using eco thrive microbe tea, really good stuff, but my last crop, i used rhizo for the first time, and i will be using for every crop in the future, its epic lol.

Honestly the smell of that bubblegum, never smelt anything so vivid like it before. Even if bud rot happens or some disaster,

That smell will encourage me to master this forever

ZN is the guy who knows all about dutch pro mate.

With anything, you want a good a n b, for grow and for bloom, can be Canna, Dutch Pro, Advanced nuits, whoever, they all do the same thing pretty much.

What matter is the pk boosters and rot stims.

for root stim, Rhizo all the way

PK boosters, Big Bud is the best and can be used with most nutrient lines not just advanced, but explode, or pk 13/14 from canna will be fine, big bud is the best

Overdrive! Must have overdrive IMO, add it to the nutrients when trichomes get 50/50 milky, cloudy, and itll push out more resins and terpenes and smells delicious

Buddhas tree, solar green silicone is also a good addition, start from week 3 and feed a couple of times a week up until week five of flower

Some cal mag, and epsom salts, to fight off potential cal.mag issues.

I think thats a good nutrient regime man, there is more tweaking you can do, to make it perfect, but its a good basic setup thats easy to deal with

Shall I remove vitalink rootstim then? In replacement of rhizo?

Also had a 50l bag of coco that comes with AnB set? Is this pointless as I'm going with Dutch pro solution instead?

What else would I need to tweak? I cant afford get this in one go so breaking it Down be handy. But I've got alot of preparation time for next anyway.
