Hi ! This is my second grow, first in coco. I have question about light and humidity. So till today and this is Day 26 i i have light 24/0. They started flowering, i have 3 x Blue Dream Matic and 1 x Amnesia auto

I did test and i turned off lights, and during those 4 h, humidity jump from 40-50 % to 60 -70 %. My intake is TD silent 350 (full speed) i have one small mixing fan inside, my tent is 0.64 m2.

My question is, should i keep them like that i mean 24/0 or i can switch to 20/4 ? but please keep in mind that humidity will increase and i don't have option to lower it, and obviously i don't want to have mold Smile

I just gave them water..

Please forgive me my English, have a nice evening !

I’ve run all the way to harvest at 60% rh with no problems. I’d be curious as to what your outside the tent rh is. Usually lights off rh aligns with ambient conditions. I’d switch the light hours and watch your grow for a few days. Should be fine with those numbers as long as you keep the air moving through the tent at lights off, it worked out for me at least.

Hey, thanks for quick replay

Humidity outside can increase to 70- 80 % its raining here almost every day and still bit warm so i have to keep my window open to control temperature , with lights on humidity is around 35-55%, HPS 400W

A dehumidifier in the tent would be ideal but let’s not wish for what we don’t have. The critical thing to help avoid problems is air flow. Even with lights off the extraction needs to stay running to avoid damp still air. Try to plan the lights off for the time of day with the best possible conditions for the tent. This will allow you to use the light to dry the air when it’s moist.

thanks once again, i will try to get some cheap dehumidifier, if this is possible..  i already passed my budget like 4 times 😀 anyway best option is between 12 -16, i think closing window and turning on radiator could help as well but i don't know this is just theory

btw. great forum very useful i love it 🤗
