I'm sure many others probably already know this but, if you're like me you like taking a fair few pictures of your grow. But then if you ever hand your phone to your mate etc you suddenly think O shit I hope they don't swipe the other way.
Anyway I only just realised that if you're on an iPhone you can just select all the pictures you want to hide as if you were going to send them to someone, click the send button (box with the arrow), then scroll down the options at the bottom theres one that says HIDE.
If you click the Hide button all of the selected pictures will disappear from your camera roll and then appear in a folder called Hidden thats at the very bottom of your Photos app. They also all appear in date order just like your camera roll.
As I'm new to this I'm sure most people are aware but if you're not its really useful.
I’ve had an iPhone for ever an never knew this option! My mrs is always tryin to look through my photos an im like fuuuccckkk hope she doesn’t scroll too far! 😂😂 I know what I’m spending the evening doing now thanks @yoshi wish I knew how to work technology…… sometimes 😂

If your plan is for ten years, plant trees.
If your plan is for one hundred years, educate children.

Been doing this for quite a while but I should mention that this does not lock those photos but puts them into an album called "Hidden" and this is clearly visible to anyone curious enough to look and easy to access too. It does prevent someone from finding them by scrolling through the main photo album though as they are hidden but that "Hidden" album is listed in the directory with the number of hidden pictures (over 800 for me lol). I use it just to be sure I don't accidentally flash a weed plant pic when I'm trying to find a picture of the kids. Handy but not fool proof

I've had an iPhone for a little while and never knew that was an option. I tried it and also noticed there is an option to hide the 'hidden' folder as well. While the hidden folder can still be accessed by hitting the add photo option on any third party app, it adds additional steps to get to that folder.
@bobhasburgers Nice bro, I’m gonna have to look into this.
