Is one meant to pluck damaged leaves
Frazzled a plant recently
Was reluctant to pluck off half damaged leaves as I thought I was growing autos but looks like they are photos now.
So do we pluck off the damaged bits or is the plant still utilising the none damaged bits if the leaf is half brown half green. I've been taking off yellow leaves all along.
With the exception of defoliation after stretch, I tend to let the plant drop the leaves on their own unless the damaged leaf is blocking a growth site. In many cases the plant is taking whatever it can from those leaves before it discards them because it’s easier for it to access mobile nutrients within the plant than it is to find and absorb nutrients. My opinion is that it’s less stressful to the plant to leave them alone but I’m sure there are other opinions around.
