Questions Micro growing

Hi @jbsnv, I'll take a stab at these, but sure others will chime in as well.

1st question, can you use autos when micro growing?
Absolutely you can use Autos!!

2nd question, how is the smell micro growing during flowering? Trying to be discrete as possible!
It'll smell, of course some of that is strain dependent, but it'll smell. Look into some way is incorporating a decent carbon filter.

3rd question, if I mix males to pollinate will the seed mature with micro growing with photo and autos?
Sure they will.

4th and final question for now is, I'm planning on using a dwc system. Will that work with micro growing?
Yes. I did a Just For Fun Micro-Grow in a Flood and Fill child's toy and was surprised at the results. Here's the link to that Diary if interested

Here is my best shot. Haha

1. You can use autos.  Pot size will be crucial as that will determine plant size and how fast it flowers.  For a micro with autos, you want tiny tiny pots not bigger than .5 gallon I would imagine.  Maybe smaller.

2. I use no carbon filter on my tent and it's in my room so no clue.  I am on 2 acres of land that I own and don't have to worry too much about smell.   But a carbon filter will keep you discreet. 

3.  I don't see any reason why they wouldn't mature normally.  Generally flower time is same amount of time.  Veg is where you save time. 

4. Dwc is gonna give you big plants.  Probably not the best option for a micro to my knowledge. Unless you are using a tiny tint system.  Plants can just feast and feast at will and they will grow  and grow.   Best bet for micro is Coco in my opinion as you can control root growth and nutrient intake.

Hey @jbsnv, sounds like you have a plan. What type of system is that you have. I've never tried to grow small plants in DWC, they usually turn out pretty good size. I did just have my smallest plant, it was 20" tall. But if their not trained and their in DWC then you could have monsters, easily. But with training and pruning it should work. Auto's would be the hardest to because they want to GO, and all the training would stress them out. Photo's would be better and you could start those into flower quicker. Smaller container and maybe some root pruning, I've never done that to keep a plant small thou.

You can do it in DWC but it will be a battle. And then the question of How small? Mr_Kyton did it and it did work. Good luck.

@woodi2 yes dwc .. I showed my gf a dwc system to grow vegetables and herbs and she thinks it's a good idea, so I figured I could throw some of my own herbs in there too .. will be putting it together on Saturday (received my herbs seeds today and bought some tomatoes peppers, cucumbers and some other herbs to start them all at the same time .. I have t5 led 6500k and t5 grow led lights .. I was going to combine them or just use the grow lights .. whats your thoughts .. combining them I was going to set them up .. grow, shop. Grow, grow. Shop grow ..
