Hi all a beginner quiz here, when using A and B bottle nutrients and each say for eg add 1ml/L (though as @monkey has mentioned  1/4 - 1/2 dose is heaps) are they talking 1ml/L in separate 1L mixes, then combining or watering seperately onto plants or is it meaning add 1ml each of A & B to the one 1L mix (ie 2ml into 1L of water)? Also if mixing together does anyone have a guide on how long it's stable once mixed before it starts to precipitate out salts out of solution? Would be great to batch mix once every  few days and water.  I assume this is the case with an automated recirculation system. Any comments on how stable it is over say a week?

A and B should be used in the same amount mate. so if you use 1 ml of A you should use 1 ml of  b too.

Add a first, then stir the water, then add b. Ph to the right level and youre good.

If you want to use it over a longer period of time, you will need to keep an air stone in the mix. If not, use any mix within 8 hours of mixing Smile

When you say keeping an air stone in the mix, do you mean like the ones you use for fish tanks running an air pump to it?

If so, how long is the mix good for?

Also, is there any benefits to running the air stone to just you bucket of water if using tap water like fish tanks or will the plants not care?

Yes mate those ones, it adds more oxygen to the water. This keeps a supply of good bacteria thriving in the feed. Adding more oxygen to the water adds more oxygen to the roots too. and they like that kinda think 😉

Excellent, I had actually been thinking of getting an air pump to run in bucket/container I plan to use as a watering reservoir but wasn't sure if it was wasted effort.

I had in my head that it would help a little with neutralising some of the chlorine and fluoride that are in regular city tap water.
