Before I set up my scenario, do realize that maximum yield is not my main decider.
Ok, here's the deal. I am testing mystery seeds for Irie Genetics (regular seeds) and 2 of 5 were sex-tested as males. They were immediately pulled.
Now, I have 2 empty pots. I would like to throw in some auto flowers and run them for 8 - 10 weeks, while my regulars flower out.
Once I pull the regulars, I have no problem running 24/0 to finish out.
Has anyone tried this? Will there be any yield by doing this?
I have an abundance of seeds, so I am OK experimenting like this, but I would like a little payoff.

I’ve run autos on 12/12. Yield will be lower but everything else was fine.

@exnavyinstl auto are a good way to fill holes. I grow a lot of regular seeds and have tossed an auto or 2 in where males came out. the yields weren't great but they weren't awful either.

@exnavyinstl you will definitely be fine and thankful that you did it. Some Autos will even surprise you with yield under 12/12.

Yep I have run them on 12/12 without issue, granted they weren't 1 pound monster autos but as tent fillers while flowering out some regs they are great.
I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.
@exnavyinstl ye I've run autos on 12/12 almost from seed to harvest and it was one the highest yields I had for an auto at just over 5oz on 240what light with 2 other photoperiod plants in there may of just got incredibly lucky but it'll work fine bro it was an malana bomb auto from Barney's
