Hi guys. Just trying to find some info on temperature variations between lights on and lights off. Its mid winter here in New Zealand, so outside daytime temps are 12 to 16C, nighttime 4 to 10C. During veg i was able to manipulate it to a max variation of 8 degrees, but since flipping to 12/12 light cycle, my tent temps are a low of 11.6C (49% humidity) and a high of 26.4C (79% humidity).
I've been told that more than a 10degree shift can upset flowering.
Awesome site btw
Sorry about the late reply mate! Didnt see this post in the moderation queue.
Temperature fluctuation during the first couple of weeks of flowering will increase the stretch, so there will be more space between nodes. Try and keep the night time temps as close as possible to day time temps, espcially for the first 2 weeks after flipping to 12/12
You dont want the grow room falling under 15c either really, the plant will stop growing if they get much colder than that. Youre going to need to add a heater for a while i think mate.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I'll try a small heater and see how that goes
