"Factors such as plant height and leaflet width do not distinguish one cannabis plant from another… the only reasonable solution is to characterize them by their biochemical/pharmacological characteristics" (Russo: 2019)
I have three books, all Download as Ebooks lol, The Jeff lownefells books on microbes. Hard to read, so only read a bit of them.
My favourite book, was from about 15 years ago now, I lived with a friend, and he had a paper book, printed, and shitty paper, obviously wasn't mass produce, and it is what first got me started with the idea of growing.
Fuck knows what it was called, but it was full of great info.

Bro that sounds awesome - I just did a quick Google on it and would love to know if you recommend it once you're done.
That other grower's handbook sounds like the stuff of legend, passed down through the years.
Would be f**kn amazing to see a book like that. Do you know if it was produced in the UK or if he got it from somewhere else?

For sure produced in the UK mate. Showed you how to build your own grow room and every thing lol, proper black market style shit it was. We got the internet nowadays though lol.
that is so dope, I wonder if there are any people out there with a copy? It would be an awesome article to write, like "How Growers Spread Knowledge During Prohibition" or something like that

I was just gonna suggest a thread for this! Awesome.
These are my go to, but very especially the Cannabis Encyclopedia. Holy shit it has absolutely everything you could ever need to know about everthing. It's really the latest version of Jorge Cervantes' Marijuana Horticulture series, but in amazing textbook-style detail. This is where I've taken the majority of my techniques and ideas from, along with the old school Cannabis Culture forums way back in the day. Closet Cultivator is a more basic version, written more for stealthy grows during prohibition, and has a lot of good info as well. Probably still useful to a lot of us... Finally, The Kitchen is a book by growers/breeders UptownGrowLab from the States (Cali I believe). It has some brilliant centerfold macro shots of the various cultivars they mess with. Basically bud porn. Really great coffee table book though.
