I wasn't sure where to put this but I have a plant that has been almost frozen so cold I lost some branches put back into 24hr light by accident all after going into flower. So far no signs of herming my question is if it finally herms and I get seeds will they be more likely to herm? So far this plant has recovered from all its been through and I'm actually hoping it herbs on me so I can get seeds from this phenotype since it's such a bullet proof plant. Should be female seeds, correct? Thanks!
@vintage-jack most likely, from those seeds if you get loads the more chance of having a hermie seed. ive grown hermies before still have hermie seeds in fact. i done 3 rounds of the strain and got seed from one grow, ive found nanners but no seed at harvest, hope this helps.
@vintage-jack I’ve grown seeds from a hermie a few times and so far have had no issue doing this. Sometimes I see some late flower nanners but have not had anything come of it. Personally I’d have no issues growing them myself but would probably prefer not to share them in case they are unstable and cause another grower misery. The hermie seed is more likely to herm but it’s not guaranteed to do that.

@monkeydo thanks! That's kinda the way I felt that deep freeze we got around Christmas really messed me up when my generator shut down! So far no balls that I can see. If it was prone to herm I've given it every opportunity 🤣 thanks again great job on the podcast nice to hear someone else in prohibition land
All cannabis plants have the Herm Trait its a natural part of their survival. Growers have worked hard to try to get rid of what is natural.
I grow a lot of Bag seed Or herm seeds. If there are a lot of seeds that come out the bud i toss them or if i know the plant was not stressed much, but if i only get a few i save them and grow them. I have grown many with out getting a seed. but once in a while ill get a few no big deal. have come across some real good plants this way.
