Evening all. Hope everyone had a great 420 and weekend.
I’m a first time grower and have just germinated my seeds and all seems ok for the most part, out of 12 I have only had 4 not pop yet in 24hr. Should I leave them a bit longer to see if they do?
my question is, that 2 of my seed seem to have these hair like growths on them and I am unsure weather it’s normal or I have done something wrong. I have attached a photo could someone take a look and guide me on what I have haven’t done right. And if it’s normal or not. Thank you all.
@droverdog That is perfectly normal and proper! The radical root will flare out with little feathery looking hairs as it grows. Happy growin!

Get that thing in The soil asap though 😄 Make a hole big enough for radical root to gently rest in and gently push the media around the root until stable. The seed shell should be right at top of the soil, I usually leave just a tiny tiny tip of the seed visible. Hope this helps

@droverdog the ones that haven't popped, just leave until they do. They can take up to 10 days, even more sometimes. There are alot of ways to help the seeds that aren't popping along as well. But I would just wait.

what way up do I bury the seed.
Bury the white root down wards mate, i got a vid here for you to help
