I never was able to dial in the climate good enough. Large swings in temperature between dark and light period. also struggled to keep humidity down without raising the temp to much. (The more I pushed my dehumidifier to lower humid, the more heat it produces). Also fertigating 5 times probably raised the humidity even more.
For the next time I am putting in a larger exhaust fan, and I will change out my homemade sprinkler-watering thingy to real watering halos, like those from bloom brothers. And I will lower fertigation rate. Also growing during winter instead of during the summer is preferable to me when it comes to humidity.
Anyways, about those pictures I promised!
Unfortunately I never did take any pictures during the actual harvest, I felt a bit like "why bother, this is probably crap anyway"... fortunately it wasn't, but I do believe I know what people really are most interested to see, so here is a picture of a little frog that has moved into my basement
And also, a picture of one of my baby goats (about 3-4 month old)
And for the heck of it, here are the seven jars of joy:
@woolieback Happy to hear that, I felt the same, but I followed a pretty good guide over at Coco For Cannabis, and also studied the one by nug-bucket. I learned a ton by doing it. Especially learned how much I didn't know about the plant .
After a couple of months of curing I must say that my Durban Poison is the best tasting of all my weed . I almost haven't smoked any of it since the harvest in October, so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it again recently. A clear and fresh floral sort of taste on the exhale.
My favorite cannabis to date though is my Fast Bud Gorilla Glue Auto that I grew last winter. The smell when I crack open a bud is just pure heaven. I believe it is mostly the pinene that my nose just seem to love, but it might be a combination of many different cannabinoids and or terps. The taste on the exhale is not bad but I wouldn't call it delicious, but definitely not bad.
@woodi2 yes, and I actually just finished the grow that came after my Durban Poison grow (i.e. this thread), and as far as I can remember I stuck to my plan, and it pretty much worked out great
I actually saw the frog a couple of weeks ago, still alive
