They didn't germinate

There are some interesting methods to help germination rates go up.  Hydrogen peroxide solution in the soak is one, I'm not sure exact directions but apparently it makes a big difference especially with older seeds.    I use Organic Rev and a tiny bit of Recharge in my water for paper towel.  Since starting this I have had no issues and seedlings are vigorous.  

Also, some seeds just take forever to germ.....  I had one that wouldnt germ for 10 days and grew out fine after.

Sometimes older seeds can take longer to germ, a bit of a scratch along some sand paper can help promote the water soaking through the shell, keeping that paper towel moist is key and ideally you want them in the 23-27c temp range while in that paper towel. Everyone does it slightly different but the main factors are Dark, Damp and Warm. If i haven't seen any action after 4 days i will take action and see if i can coax them out, others use peroxide as shonuff suggested and or promoters for seedlings in the water you wet the towel with can help too, but if i haven't seen anything in 10+ days i will usually chuck them in the garden. i have had a few pop randomly in my veg patch over the years so strange things happen in the world of living things my friend!

@shirley-boi, it happens man. Hard to say what caused it but it's done. It's happen to me once after they all cracked, then they died. WTF. Start some more, pay closer attention next time. This teaches you not to get excited till the buds are cured in the jars. Just remember what Mr. Miyagi use to say.  Good luck man. 👍

@shirley-boi, hey man nice rebound. Now I don't do soil but I know that your soil there is too wet. I've heard that you water in a ring around the seedling. Maybe about a tablespoon 15ml of water morning and night. Leave the rest of soil dry. This way the roots will chase the water down through the soil. The roots need to be able to find air. So if you drench them like that they can drown. I heard to put a fan close by to help dry the soil but don't blow away your plant. Point it at the pot. It's ok she might be a little slow for a day or two but no more water till she starts to dry out, could take a couple to a few days.

But I sure someone with soil knowledge will say something. Germination is tough cause we don't have to do it that often and it doesn't last that long, so you just have to get the basic's of: Light water and Light lite for the first week or more.

i agree with Woodi  soil should be moist not wet. ive lost several from that.  best of luck hope the others pop for you also.

@woodi2 yea thats the info ive been looking for i didn't know if they chased the oxygen or the water lol. Yea tha top layer looks wet cos of the film ive had over it n water dripped off.but under that top layer its damp. I avnt added water since the night i put em in soil. Only the one av come up so far out of the 2 so il give it a couple of days n if not i got gsc here so il slap them on en
