Should I reuse my soil?
I was planning to reuse my 45 gallons of Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil from my last grow. However, it wasn't a good grow, and I never did identify the problem(s)- maybe pH issues and nutrient lockout, but I don't know. Would it be risky to reuse the soil?
I could just toss it into the outdoor garden, I guess. But I'd rather re-use it for my cannabis plants if it's relatively safe to do so. I'm pretty sure there were no bugs in it, just pH issues.
@zoom Its always good to reuse it if you can. You can do a test to find out what is missing from it, but usually adding some fish blood and bone, then mixing some new compost into it will do the job lovley, it'll be good to use again after that. I reuse my soil all the time and been using the same stuff for over a year now.... I just reamend it before each grow
Hi dude, l reused my guerrilla Grow for 6 years running. Just added ammendments every year. I would just give a flush and add to some fresh compost.
I sometimes throw in some enzymes (Cannazym) to help break down any left over root matter
