@shirley-boi Im not really sure if you can plan too far ahead without actually having a plant growing, as strains and plants dont all grow the same.

I would thought the only advanced planning you can really do is know what temp, RH, feed etc should be in veg but untill theres a plant in the equation you wont know what its going to do.

hi bro

these appear typically slow weeks as there's not much plant growing ... best thing is to get environment and watering / feeding spot on.. overwatering is the most common issue with seedlings ....

try think of em like babies.. if you want your baby to grow faster you wouldnt force feed em loads of water and food.. youd just try give them what they need and in healthy amounts relative to their needs..

get the light intensity right as well (light not too far / near)

use a good size pot for accelerated growth that will allow for faster drybacks (watering cycles) i use a 2L until week 3 then pot up to finishing pot

until plants have a good few sets of leaves they cant really grow so fast.. our job is to allow them to grow as fast as they can (provide best possible environment) without getting in their way and slowing em down!!

hope this helps a little bro

good luck on the next run

Time to pop some more beans 😗

This is why I dont update diaries much in veg, fuck all happens LoL environment 1st, warm happy roots grow faster...water around edges of pots in seedling to early veg stage, make the roots search for water instead of it being there...use some Great White or similar when you transplant and top them at least twice...

Thats my usual routine...decent soil helps too, ideal thing for you would be TG's mix/Ecothrive/Sohum etc....just chuck water in every few days, easy as...

One important bit for me is starting in a smallish pot and potting up mid veg. When the plants are young they mostly focus on developing a root system before getting a large canopy. When the roots hit the sides of the small pot the plant thinks it’s maxed out on root and it will start making more foliage. Add something like Rhizotonic to the early grow for root stimulation and the root zone gets a kick start, develop faster, and the overall plant grows faster and stronger as a result. In my opinion, the biggest part of vigorous growth is a thriving root zone.

I believe that your early nutrition in the grow slowed you down a lot this time around. It was obvious that you were concerned about burning them but in the end the low feed slowed them down a bunch. As you get more comfortable around the plants you will learn what works best for you but just like the rest of us, there will be mistakes along the way to learn from.

Your next grow is in soil I believe so I’m not gonna comment on that because there are growers here more experienced with cannabis in soil than I am. Find a grower you trust and try to follow their advice. Years ago before the site was near this busy, Macky did this for me in a coco/scrog run and I learned tons. I broke some bad habits that run and started developing my own style of grow by listening to my teacher 100%. I guarantee if I move to organic soil I’ll find another tutor because they already know what I want to learn.

We have a few absolutely excellent soil growers here at Percy’s. Pick a favorite one and imitate their practices if you can. The old do what they do and get what they get philosophy. Its like copying your schoolwork but in this case encouraged. As you know the thing we do best here is answer questions so help is always somewhere close. Along the way you’ll create your own grow style.
