I'm all for you rooting out some clones and re-starting. Several of us have had issues with getting started on this comp's grows due to a variety of reasons, myself included. I'm beginning to think of this comp as a way to work out the wrinkles as we all find our way in the world of bonsai. As was said earlier, I do think the thing to do would be to check-in with the other participants about the re-start.

Ona related note, sometimes life throws mud at you and all you can do is go one step at a time so hang in there, bro. Regardless of the outcome on this comp issue, you could still grow out plants and practice bonsai -- that is what I am trying to do.

Bonsai isn’t easy so restarting seems almost like a natural thing. There is a deadline so having to restart is in itself a handicap but I like the idea of letting participants have the leeway to overcome the obstacles and learn in the process. I’m not in the comp but that’s just my opinion 

I agree with everyone yous allowed me to jump in late with a cut plus your dude was looking so good would be a real shame to see you have to pull out 

 Hi all while Iv been figuring out what plants getting bonsaied and how I'm going to do it all and all the rest of it IV also been testing things out on the male plant,his still alive but no longer in the comp or grow space so figured why not practice,

I have a cool ass idea for the bonsai plant but wasn't sure if it was possible or not but after testing I feel it will be,IV chopped 2 shitty looking branches of on the male plant and fused them together and both branches and new growth look healthier stronger and better then before,

IV also picked the plant for the comp and training starts within the next week 😉😁👍

 And there she..🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 is 😆

Thanks for letting me stay in and grow along with you all I was gutted with the out come of my other 2 plants one been a male and the other getting killed by the unknown 😆 but really people thank you all i love this shit it's awsome and I'm enjoying it man learning most days and experimenting is always fun 👍👍

Hi all repotted today into the bonsai pot and training will start next week been in a shit place for a little minute and been quite busy so havnt had chance to get pics and things but will do in a little while keep it Poppin people 👍🏻👍🏻

I forgot to mention this plants 5 weeks old from seed I'll keep on track from now on 😉👍🏻

first day of week 7 today and a little more back on track then I have been,I plan to do some LSTing with her later on tonight now she's big enought to start on,things are really up and down for me lately between doctors work and  days my body works it's a struggle getting 5 minutes for photos and things but as I said I'm back on track better then I have been so updates/write ups will be back to every 7 days 

She's still on a water only diet and growing nicely i love the big fan leaves she's got any way all I'll see yous next Friday bringing us to week 8 from seed keep it Poppin all 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Only on one leaf and it's came from the plant it's a clear liquid build up on one leaf I'm baffled by it let me know if anyone's seen this before 👍🏻

Plant sweat. The leave laying on each other can sweat on each other. Perhaps a bit more breeze. 

The plants transpire about 93% of the water they take in. It goes in and come right out through the leaves.(I'm not getting into the scientific explanation because someone will probably baak about it, lol) It's the same with big plants or small plants. Big plants you notice it more with the humidity that is produced from the amount of water they are cranking out.

So look into your environment and see what makes a plant sweat. Air movement is key, but so is temp and RH too. My hydro can get really wet sometimes if everything isn't in place. 

Also, leaves usually do better when they aren't touching. So when growing a small compact plant this might be something to consider.

You'll figure it out, you always have. Your reading your plant well. 👍  

 Hi all started  LST'ing(low stress training )this one now and she's responding grear,I think once the newer growth is a bit taller I'll position it to where I want and then top again,I'm not sticking to any type of style or look im just seeing what looks cool for now but with the way she responds I feel a 3rd topping is achievable and manageable with the space and time I have left who knows what the future brings,

Because my grow space is small and I have 3 other plants taking up so much room ATM she's stayed rectangular instead of bushing out instead of giving more of a circulate canopy plus I haven't trained her that way just yet so from looking from above she's like a straight line of ganja leafs 😆 I'll have more space soon and I'll train out the canopy and bring the bush out 😆🤣 keep it poppin 👍🏻

 Week 9 from seed,sorry for the late update things are up in the air ATM for me iV been trying to grab photos last couple days but havnt had time, everything with this girl's going good so far and she's responding to training amazingly every adjustment every strain she bounces back and shines,I now have a decent canopy shape to work with so the fun can begin
