that is essentially what I’ve got my 6 in and it is full 😜 I almost think I should have flipped earlier.
@johncarlson21 yeah mate 1m x 1m x 2m . I’ve got 4 new 10 gallon pots ready and waiting. I will be growing out all females. What ever doesn’t make the cut will end up outside. But my outdoor season hasn’t even started yet so they won’t be finished in time for the competition. I’ll keep you up to date on all. Thanks again.
@cookiegrow sounds great! I feel like the people growing them outdoors, especially this one, will get big plants. I can tell this just by how they grow in my 3L pots, and I should say tall plants 😋

So first up I thought I would show my soil. It is a combination of multiple grows that has been amended with worm castings some slow release fertiliser and my own
Compost. As you can see it has worms already in it. I also keep all the small root mass from previous grows. I see it as organic matter that will break down back into the soil.
Obviously I didn’t need that much for my 11 little pots. I will chuck the container back in my shade house and keep it watered until I use it to repot. I have some girls finishing off and the soil from them plus probably another bag or two of some new soil will be mixed together to fill four 10 gallons fabric pots as there final home.
So all planted. Poked a little hole put in some myko and dropped in the seeds. Oh and they sat in the water for 16 hours.

This helmet didn’t want to come off. In the process of gently trying to remove it after wetting it down he/she just came straight out of the soil. I’m thinking I didn’t plant deep enough. So I replanted and now I wait.
So my count is 9 from 11. 10 if helmet head comes back. Still holding on hope for the last one. All have stretched for the light so I’ve propped them up closer to the light.

@cookiegrow I have done the same thing in the past. You have to be some what delicate removing them. I usually wet them as you've said and then trying not to pull or bend the seedling I use a tweezers to gently remove the helmet.🤞it pops back with vigor. Good call moving them a little closer to the light.
Got a second set of leaves on 9 of the 11. I’ve all but written off helmet head and no sign of 11. Lifting them stopped the stretch as u can see from the last one to pop being shorter.
Im going to stick to weekly updates from here on in.

I've got the same pheno (BD-1). I got started late soo will be going SOG since I worry about having time for training with the Dec 15th finish date.
Very interested to see the differences between our runs.

@stashnugsmor sweet mate that sounds like a good plan. I’m thinking I’m going to grow a couple of the females. Both indoor and out. I’ll just make sure I’ve got one finished for the end of the comp.
@cookiegrow I would have liked to run half of them outdoors, but in my region we are already entering flowering outdoor due to reduced daylight hours. I do have some big girls outdoors, and expect to be harvesting around Oct 10th as that's about when we start getting our first warnings of killing frost.
@stashnugsmor lucky for me im just about to start my outdoor season. I hope they transfer outside and don’t flip. I was just looking at them and I will need to repot this week so some might have to go to the veggie patch earlier than I was planning.

So had another good week. I’ve been keeping an eye on things hoping that I might pick up any signs of who might be who. So far I would say I have 9 male/female cannabis plants lol.
Roots are starting to come out the bottom so I’m going to transplant this week. I’ll transplant 5/6 into 3 gallon pots and keep them inside. The remainder will go outside in 7 gallon pots which will be there forever homes.
I’ve got a good 5 nodes of growth and usually I would be looking to top. Don’t know if I’ll wait a week due to repotting. Or since I’ve got 9 maybe I’ll do both to a couple and see if the bounce back as quick.

So a window of opportunity presented its self and I transplanted. Why these six made the cut no reason. I looked them over still have no idea of sex so hopefully one is female. I left 3 in small pots for now until I can work out a transition to outside. I’m still a bit early for the season with daylight temps are acceptable.

To keep with the weekly schedule week 4 . The 3 gallon plants took off so the front 3 got topped. Four of them are taller two shorter.
Hope you can see the difference here. And the no transplant in the middle. Still have no idea yet of sex.
