Started the seeds a couple of days after they arrived. Soaked them for a day in water before planting them into coco coir plugs which had been soaked in water. They were then put into a propagator tray on a heat mat to keep them nice and warm.
So far haven't had any pop although I did, very carefully, have a look in a couple and saw a tiny bit of white from the root so hopefully they'll be popping their heads out in the next couple of days.

I hope things are starting to move along in a positive way for you! @mrbrooks
So time I updated here. I'm not sure what has gone wrong but none of my seeds have germinated yet. Today I decided to change things up so I dug all of the seeds out of the coco coir plugs they were in and rinsed them off in warm water before laying them out on a damp paper towel and covering before putting them back into the propagator.
One of the seeds had some little white worm type things crawling on it so I disposed of it. Of the other 9, 2 have started to crack open and I could see the root starting to emerge, the other 7 seem to have opened a little bit then stopped.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to why I've not succeeded in getting at least a couple to germinate. To recap the seeds were soaked in a glass of water for around 18 hours before planting into soaked coco plugs and placing in the propagator. They have been kept moist since and I haven't let them dry out. I think that either I have kept them too wet, too warm or they didn't like the coco plugs.
This is the 9 remaining seeds after a little rinse, I'm hoping that 2 of them may still be fighting for life but most look like they've given up.
I have left them on a small, over-turned saucer to prevent them from getting too warm in the hope that they will pull through.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to save any of the seeds so I am out of the pheno hunt.
I wish all the growers that didn't mess up the germination all the best (everyone but me 🤣)
At least I now know that my heat mat is too warm and I kept the coco plugs too wet..everyday is a school day.
sorry to hear this man, ive never really tried a heat mat but i read that something on top of it will help absorb the excess heat because they are usually way warmer then needed. if i ever need to heat anything i usually use my xbox 😂. i think i left my my sour strawberry in the water toong when i soaked it, the tap was out 😆 but she never came up 😔.
When you do your soaks, do you have them covered so no light gets in?
SO it is time for a long overdue update.. thanks again to Monkey and John for supplying me with a second set of seeds
After a somewhat cooler, wetter and windier trip through Denmark, Sweden and Norway I returned home to find a beatiful blue envelope from mokeyland waiting for me 😆
The contents went straight into water and the next morning into a folded wet paper towel in a plastic bag, this was left on top of the fridge.
The next day we had 9 outof 10 taproots looking for some soil!!
These were then transplanted directly into soil and placed in my tent with the light turned down low.
Last night I checked to see how they were doing and we now have 100% germination! I have lowered the light slightly and increased intensity slightly to stop them from stretching too much and gave them a sprinkling of ph'ed water with some root juice added for a little boost.
Hopefully I can keep them happy and start playing catch-up!
Thanks for stopping by!
Good to see you back at it. I'm sure everything you figure out with these will help in the pheno hunt project. Looks like a good start
Update time!
My little plants are now in their 3rd week. It has not been smooth sailing unfortunately, the (hopefully) girls got slightly overwatered and as I hadn't mixed enough perlite in with the soil I had planted the seeds into it retained too much water. Once I realised my fuck up I quickly re-potted the 6 largest into 3.5 litre pots with fresh soil and a healthy dose of perlite and lightly watered with some root juice to help them settle in.
Since the repotting a few days ago I have seen a definite improvement, the new growth is looking much greener and healthier and I'm hoping that they pick up the pace a little now that they seem to be happier.
I will also be much more cautious when watering and err on the side of letting them dry out a bit more between waterings.
My plan is to keep them in their current pots and once they have recovered from the attempted murder flip to flower. The pots are currently sat in the base from my autopot system and I am hoping that I can utilise this once they are established to irrigate. If this does work I will be covering the pots and the base with something to prevent light and any fungus gnats or other unwanted parties reproducing in the water.
I am also planning on doing weekly updates from here but we'll see how well that goes..
Time for an update!
The remaining 6 are looking great! They have settled in now since their emergency transplant and are finally putting on some good growth.
On Sunday 6.10 I flipped to flower.
I'm planning on getting them numbered to make it easier to keep track of which ones which and as you can see I wrapped the pots and bases of the autopot in a rubbish sack to keep anything from getting to the reservoir once I start using it.
So far I have noticed that a couple have somewhat longer thinner leaves and so far only one noticeably wider leaves, we'll see how they progress.
We are now at 17 days since flipping to flower.
All 6 were happy and healthy until I found balls on the 3 on the right hand side of the tent. As far as I can see the 3 on the left have all started growing pistils, much to my delight!
As painful as it was the males have been removed and disposed of.
Now that there are only 3 plants in the tent I will move them to the centre and try to train them outwards to make better use of the space.
All 6 before the males were removed.
The 3 remaining (hopefully) females.
32 Days since flip.
Temps have been between 15°C and 22°C
Humidity 52-65%
All 3 have been growing well, they have responded well to some light training and are starting to produce some good buds.
Plants 1 and 3 both have more sativa like leaves and seem to have stretched a little bit more. I think they also smell similar, somewhat more citrus dominant although there is something else to it but can't put my finger on it, kind of musky.
Plants 1 and 3 have also had a couple of the lower fan leaves yellowing, at the moment I'm not sure why. I was away last week but the mrs watered once while I was away and I have given a light feed today so that might help them. I find it interesting that the middle plant, #2, hasn't showed any yellowing as they are in the same soil and pot size and get watered the same.
Maybe something to with it have broader leaves and possibly more indica heavy genes than her siblings? Not sure if it works like that though lol
Plant 2 has broader fingered leaves and a sweeter more berry like smell but still very citrusy.
I'm planning on doing some light defoliation at the weekend and removing the smaller bud sites that won't produce anything worthwhile but not going to go to heavy as there's not much to them.
Thanks for reading!

Day 47 since flip.
Temperatures have been betweeen 13°C-20°C.
Humidity 30%-60%
All 3 seem to be doing well, the temperature has been colder here for the last few days but they seem to be holding up fine.
Plant number 1 has developed very dark leaves now, not sure if its just due to the low temps or something else but it now looks more similar to number 2 than numebr 3.
All of them are smelling great, number 1 has a strong berry smell with a slightly rotten undertone. Number 2 also has a berry to it but not as strong and more lemony. Number 3 is pure lemon, really intense.
