they are off to the soil mix....
7 out of 10 have popped. I have hopes for 2 of the last 3. Domes come off after they pop because I am seeing water drops on the cotyledons so they need circulating air.
It looks like 7 will be my seedling number. Oh well, could have been worse. LOL
I am pleased to announce a late popper has arrived on the scene. I now have 8 seedlings.

All 8 seedlings are still growing just fine. Most are light in colour, but I started them on significantly diluted nutes yesterday, so that should clear up. The clear cups are fun because you can see the roots begin to grow up on the sides. One of them could be transplanted now, but I will keep her squeezed in her cup until the others are ready, hopefully slowing her down a bit.
@basssman7 I do not know this to be "fact" but it seems I've heard that the roots don't really like to be exposed to light.
You may want to look into that a bit, just in case that's a factor in their leaves being somewhat pale.

I will certainly check out that, which is an excellent point about roots and light. In this case, I don't think it is the cause of the colouration because the healthiest is the largest one with the most roots showing, but I will research the clear cups/roots thing. Thanks for pointing that out.
After a google scan of various forums and reddit it seems that clear pots are not an issue and can be an advantage when used as I am for the seedling stage.

Be very careful with reddit. It’s an often toxic environment that has lots of bad info on growing. I’ve found that algae growth happens in the root zone with clear cups and that’s not a good thing, but I’m old school

Reddit blows all around for honest and legitimate answers, which is why you will often see 7 pages of people arguing about absolutely nothing that has to do with the original post.
If you have used clear cups though, don’t discard them. There is a really cool trick you can do with them. Make sure they have draining holes and then get some colored cups and also give them holes and put the clear ones inside the colored cups. Everything will still drain and you can now, pull the cups apart at any point and see the root progression. This makes it easy to know when you absolutely need to repot or upsize them to prevent them from being root bound. You’re also able to see how much moisture is at the bottom so you don’t have any dry pockets or sludge forming. Who needs Reddit when you’ve got Percy’s in your pocket! 🤟😎💜
@morgasmo great idea man. Nest the clear cup inside an opaque one. That keeps the root zone dark, but still allows for rootzone inspections.
A quick update. I culled them down from 8 to 5 and transplanted them into 3 gallon fabric pots. They are still very small but healthy and praying to the light. About a week after transplant when they were doing good I also topped them a few days ago. They will be flipped to flower at the end of this week, so I will still have a shot at making the finish date. Photos coming soon.

in their flower tent and getting 12/12 light. Let the stretch begin!
Wow. These (hopefully) girls are taking off fast. One of my toppings was more of a fim, which created an excellent three-branch effect. If it is female, I will have to ensure it has lots of support and doesn't split down the middle.
After one week of 12/12 light I had to take 2 boy plants to the green bin tonight. There are 2 left I am pretty sure are female and one more that I am not positive about. Let's grow!
