Questions lofts

@echo I remember seeing a story in a newspaper years ago about cops raiding a house and finding weed in the loft, I think it was somewhere in Scotland, there was a photo of a row of houses all covered in snow apart from one house in the middle with no snow on it, and for some reason the cops thought it looked a bit suspicious.haha But there must been mega heat in that loft and alot of plants.

I would thought a couple of plants in the loft would be ok with modern lights not being very hot, I would chance it but I dont know much about growing yet.  

Yea loft can be fine as long as you are well insulated.

I’m a loft grower. As @Bobdurban says it needs to be insulated (so your snow doesn’t melt 😉)

I used to use tents in the loft (roof cube for flower and a 3x3x5 for veg with extra insulation on the tent roofs but don’t use the flower tent now (the insulation I used is top notch)

Personally I wouldn’t recommend loft growing unless you’ve got it insulated!

But otherwise it can be done for sure 

I’m just starting out in the loft. I’ve insulated the floor and put boards down. I’m thinking of using 75mm celotex insulation between the rafters. Do you think this will be enough? Or maybe add a space sheet over the top?

sounds good.. if using leds heat is less and the 75mm celotex should be fine.. more wouldnt hurt ... though u have to weigh up the risks in your area / country .. if snow dont melt on your roof you know youre fine 😉
