Anyone used a grow room with an unfinished ceiling in a basement, I am planning to use a 6in inline and carbon filter to vent the whole room out of my dryer vent to avoid needing a filter for each tent. I wanted to be able to harvest in the room as well, so it's relatively large, 15'x21'. I have a lot of planned work on the floor above, but also don't want the wife approval factor to be low with dank smell coming through the floor.
Venting a total room means you need to close all unwanted opening for the air.
I have seen such things in chemical drug laboratories.
For the eventual rest smell I recommend ONA which is made specially to cover cannabis smell.

Yes absolutely - but to ensure that nothing gets out of the room you need to have higher pressure out of the room.
You can do so if you can vent out of the room during a window or whatever goes out of the house.
That lowers the pressure in the room = higher pressure out of the room.
