Multiple signs of deterioration-need advice pls

 Anonymous

Hi All,
Advice appreciated please,folks.
I had posted asking what the yellow lines are but have since found other symptoms with Eve and would appreciate input on it all.
Trouble is, until I can replace PH meter on Monday, I can't  rule out the watering/PH/ being an issue but some of these symptoms can have multiple causes.
Eve has been on half strength Grow Nutes.
So, she has yellowing, browning and rusting of leaves, in no particular location on each leaf, some edges, some tips, some centre of leaf etc..no pattern to it. Also solid straight yellow lines. She has ash like leaf tips that are clawed and what looks like bug damage eating away but still cant find any live bugs.
I did just find 2 tiny black dots on underside of one leaf which is the first pic, does it look like egg sacs to anybody out there?
I was considering nute burn...PH lockout....Thrips make white lines not yellow and

hmmm, looks like the effects of bugs Ali, maybe thrips. Have you seen anything crawling round on the underside of the leaves?

It could be leaf miners you see, and they live inside the leaves, you might not see them. I would treat for bugs any way with some neem oil mix, just to be sure.

@alij68 Ya I second the neem oil and leaf miners thing. Those tracks are a good sign of a little bastard in there. A neem oil solution will help AND it helps minimally with growth and gives a shield of protection. Better to find Castille soap but i used a few drops of liquid dish soap with no adverse affects-unscented preferably.

The plant will be just fine though, I know how it feels when something uneasy comes into your life, but these plants are incredibly tough.

Let it groooowwww...let it GROOOOWWW!!!

@colacody Thanks man, and believe me, I've called this "bug" so many expletives I ran out of them .."Bastard" being one of the tamer ones 😆
Castille and Neem seems to be the preferred (and plant friendly) solution.
Yeah, they really are tough, I was (vaguely) okay with a few signs of trouble, but when the whole of her turned dark (almost black) green , I kinda lost it lol
Hope you're good, CC
