@weekendtoker

hi mate, don’t worry doesnt look too bad ...
the brown spots in pic 1 look like a little splash burn (water droplets magnify the light)

the drooping maybe overwatered but still lush green growth at top..

it may be time to water again if you haven’t in 7 days! Soil looks dry (at top at least)

have you tied or bent plant over ? It looks so in last pic..

the older lower leaves in pic 3 (contain mobile nutrients) and maybe discarded or ‘used’ by the plant when having difficulty with nutrient uptake from roots (possible temporary pH out for example)

water little and often is how plants like it best in soil / coco generally speaking

leaves look dark and the curling could also be high nitrogen so maybe a little nute lockout / burn occurred

looks like it settled down though

Hope this helps a little

Fire away if you got more questions

Good luck

@weekendtoker

lst nice way to go 👍

so aim for pH 6.5 in soil, 6.2-6.8 is ok,

start with 1/4 strength feed then half strength see how they like it.

generally water alternate with feed or low feed each time (half strength , more if needed)

hope this makes sense

@weekendtoker

i shouldn’t think so..

some plants don’t like much nitrogen others do ..,but I don’t think you need to worry there .. your plants have a long way to go and the issue is minimal ..

Autos also are often known to not like higher nutrition levels btw

The newer growth at the top of your plants looks good so I think you’re still in good shape

@chillbert Hi Chillbert I got a ph tester home a few days ago, theres 3 packets of buffer powder with it, I still havnt used it tho, It says I need distilled water to calibrate it, which I dont have yet. I also bought 3 bottles of Growth Technology stuff, ph buffer 4, ph up and ph down.

 When you get your water to the right ph level does it stay at that ph level for a while or does it alter over time. iv just been mixing half and half rain water and tap water these last few waterings making 1L each time. I was thinking if I get my meter calibrated I was going to mix up a lot of water and feed and store it in bottles so I dont have to calibrate the meter again, or is than not a good idea. The calibration looks kinda complicated when you have a tiny brain like me. haha Smile

@stootie hi mate

you can make up some pH’ed water but pH can change over time so you should check before you use it .. this is because the acid used to lower pH evaporates over time hence pH changing ..

as you are in soil this will buffer your pH a bit so more forgiving if pH isn’t spot on.. the microbes in your soil will help do this for you so long as your PH isn’t miles out eg7.9 or 5.0

growers regularly monitor pH so getting used to your new kit ain’t a bad idea .. prevention of lots of issues occurs when pH is in the right zone 👍

Calibration of meter isn’t as bad as it sounds btw

give yourself time to read through instructions and ask if you got any questions

it’s a 5 mins job worth doing every month or two to ensure your meters telling you accurate as possible numbers

good luck and no stress needed just the learning curve sometimes seems steeper than it actually is ! 👍

@chillbert Ah so you dont have to calibrate it every time you use it then, Yea i'll get some distilled water and start lookin into how to work the meter. My ph surly cant be too many miles off cos one plant looks perfect still, or else its a tough strain, think its called Big Bag, the other one that looked a bit sick is a Sweet Afghan Delicious. Iv had small black flies (fungus Gnats?) on the Afghan twice but got rid of them, but the flys havnt gone near the Big Bag and its sitting right next to the Afghan.

I flipped them 3 days ago, not sure if the Afghan is problem free yet or not but I thought I would take a chance on it, Its best to avoid problems but on the other hand I might learn something too by watching it go tits up infront of my eyes. haha Silly cheers mate Thumbs Up
