I'm going to be setting up a single plant soil grow for the misses to try when I've grown in soil in the past I used bio bizz this time round Im just getting stuff from the local b&q so was thinking the Verve multi purpose compost and adding fish blood and bone meal and earthworm castings nothing special

is this enough to get to the finish line

anyone with any experience with this soil before

Is it too hot for autos

how often would you need to top dress

Any other tips/recommendations

@mr_bud I'm not sure I am the person to be giving you any answers on this because I am new to cannabic growing indoors although, I have been gardening for decades, and I see that no one else has commented in a week. Of course, there are others who have much more cannabis experience than I do, but here is my situation:

I have a closet soil grow right now that is much like the one you described. I created a supersoil of sorts (before discovering Percys) that is based on a quality commercial mix favored by many growers in the US (Fox Farms Ocean Forest, or FFOF) but I fortified with my own homemade biochar (charged with worm castings and organic fertilizer for weeks before adding to the mix), calcium carbonate from cuttle bones, worm castings, epsom salt, and  mixed in organic fertilizer composed of fish bone, alfalfa meal, feather meal, langbeinite, basalt, potassium sulfate, dolomite, and kelp meal  (it's sold in the US as Down to Earth, and I have used it in my veggies and flowers for years). I put this mix into 5 gallon/20 liter buckets with holes drilled for drainage and rocks at the bottom. After my seedlings took off, I spread microclover seeds as a ground cover. My plants have been growing really well, only suffering from a little potassium deficiency now and again from the intensity of artificial lights, and a broken stem from my lack of experience at mainlining such tiny and tender plants.  I water with the very inexpensive and highly effective blumats (the original large carrots) and a 5-gallon reservoir which makes for almost maintenance free watering.

I would definitely do this again, and it seems your plan is something very similar so why not give it a go, mate? I hope that helps, and maybe someone with more experience specifically with cannabis can jump in here.  Bon chance!

@mr_bud I bet it will be great, especially if you fortify with the compost, meals, and castings.  Worm castings are fantastic.  Keep us posted!
