I'll keep it short.
3 plants just flipped to flower 2 days ago on a 7am to 7pm light schedule.
Just found out I'm getting a new boiler installed by council tomorrow and they need access to the room I have my tent in to check heating is working when installed.
Which means I'm gonna have to take my tent down for a while
If I wait until the lights go out tonight then place the plants in a dark cupboard, dismantle and store the tent until the boiler is done then build the room again. Would plants be affected severely?
They would be in the cupboard for a day at the most!
If anyone can give advice or has had to do it could I ask how it went?
Put a lot of effort in so not wanting to fail now

Nightmare mate.
I know some growers give like 36 hours dark before switching to a 12 12 but I thought I'd be cheeky and life just laughed at me lol.
Hopefully they come through ok?!
make sure you have that mature veg smell under control too

yer man they will be fine mate, stick them in the dark, try not to mess with the night cycle too much
Get them in the cupboard at lights off time, close the door, make sure no light can get into it. And you will still need carbon filter and extraction running.
Unset everything, hide it, wait till the guy has gone and rebuild. But dont let the plants out of the cupboard until lights on time 
They will be fine mate

Knowing my luck the guy wont even go in the room and I've done it all for nothing! Lol
One thing after taking tent etc. down...will you still hear the fan, with the plants in the cupboard, in the room...if so dead give away
Only reason they need in is to bleed air from radiator at end of fit...you can risk it, turn everything off and say that Mrs has suspected corona and is ill in bed, wont be council themselves, will be a sub contractor...just tell him, you'll bleed the rad later when the Mrs gets up 😉
Be further warned though, boiler installation will maybe require (dpending on fitter/council) a final inspection after fitted, usually upto 2 weeks later...this time it will just be a visual of the fitting and wont require access to each room...
Personally If you have a shed...take tent down and put plants in shed or empty wheelie bins for the day...will only take a day for the fit
I'm thinking bout just leaving it up like you said. My wife is gonna be here anyway so I can deny him access. I've already bled the radiators anyway so he shouldn't need into the room.

If theyre good fitters, they will empty the whole system, flush, add cleanser & inhibitor and would need to bleed all the rads...typical councils want cheap contracts so dont always get the good ones but you wont know until they're on the job...
