For my next grow I intend to have a crack at Jack Herer. However I understand this strain is not the easiest to grow. What particular challenges does it throw up ?

You're mis informed man 😉 Jack is easy to grow, perfect smoke, perfect plant, one of my favourites, and many of us here have grown it. My advice would be, pop them seeeeeeeeeds!!!! You're gonna love it and we will look after you too. Everyone enjoys growing jack mate, its the perfect hybrid

I still have 10 weeks or so to go with my current grow (Amnesia Haze, Cookies Gelato, Shogun). Once they're done I will definitely be popping those seeds ! (Sooner if I get my new veg tent sorted).

Oh man, as these guys said, JH is a winner. I suggest you check out the Jack Herer grow off threads. Some excellent reference material. The ONLY thing I could caution is that it’s not the most resistant plant to bud rot. So watch those giant colas and make sure you have circulating air at all times. Other than that, party time.
I also found that if you go like 85 days it is just too much. Lol. Lots of my friends had symptoms of classic over stone from Jack.
