It does look like thrip slime, I was watching a video GML put out a few weeks ago. He had the same, thought the same. But it ended up being something else, and I cant remember !!

But at this stage, IPM won’t hurt.

In the mean time, I’ll look for the video, cuz it was good info none the less.

I’ve never used it, but I believe you mix 2 tsp neem oil , 1 tsp dish soap, to 1 gal water.

Other than fungus gnats, I haven't had too many issues, but I also have what appears could be thrips. I have a free sample of “Lost Coast Plant Therapy” on the way I’m thinking of trying for pre-flower IPM, spray once per week prior to flip. It take’s care of a number of things, more than just thrips). 

Neem oil tastes like crap I used it once never again as I use my trim.

personally I’d go with predators still it’s your choice & as you say your not in flower. 

you just use it straight up adding water to make it weaker 

It will work so again upto you.

be careful with it some brands are stronger than others & can ruin your plant if added to strong.

don’t leave the plants under a hot light afterwards till it’s dried a bit.

you will probably want to use it 2/3 times with a few days apart

My suspicions came to fruition, I’m dealing with the little bastards also, even saw them little under the leaves. This is my first time having the pleasure (I think, I may have seen a few signs on top of the leaves, but never got worse)

A large scale grower I follow on another channel uses Lost Coast Plant Therapy during veg. I thought I would give it a try since it is a multi task IMP. Anyone interested who lives in an area Lost Coast is available, go to their website for a free 2oz sample (2 oz will last the average percy grower 1-2 grows, maybe 3). I applied the full strength mix (2oz/1 gal ratio), once to each garden so far. Two days ago in my small garden, this morning in my other garden, girls don’t look any worse for wear. I’ll give two more applications 2-3 days apart (to break up the thrip life cycle), then back off to once per week using the preventative maintenance mix ratio of 1 oz/1 gal water.
