While wondering random grow threads around the web, as one sometimes does, I came across this guide for using led grow lights.

The basics through late bloom weren’t surprising to me but the “shading” in the last weeks instructions were all new to me. Does anyone or has anyone used this lower light level to finish, and if so does it improve the run? Do you think this is worth investigating? No other lighting guide I’ve read mentioned this.

Nope never heard of this. I suppose it's worth a try but, I'm very skeptical. I guess in nature the Sun does get dimmer near the end of the summer but still...

Excellent post brother 😉 this is definitely worth a try and why not as it probably triggers something in the plant to ripen and finish better. Think if this gets bumped enough and people see it, there will be people trying this at the end of a run. The best way of us finding out is for us as a community trying it🙂 then we will definitely know if it makes a difference brother as we all know there is no shit talkers on here( apart from me 😁) so yes nice post monkey very interesting

Especially with seedlings / cuttings I can say: They grow better roots with lesser light.

In Nature those little Plants need to grow under green -> so higher humidity and less light.

Plants are like children - always surprising you.

Back in the days when i used HID lighting's, I would put my 400w MH light back in for the last 2 weeks of flower. Apparently, the blue spectrum and the lower intensity of light makes the plant thinks summer is over, and autumn approaches. This helps is push out more terps and cannabiniods...... apparently lol.

I may have to give this a shot one day when i have available space to compare it  with another, Seems legit though considering how it works in nature

LEDs work amazing and slice electric bills in half!

Not to mention not having to worry about not having to replace bulbs
