Hey percy's

Any ideas on a good way of perpetual growing in one tent?

I know about 12/12 from seed, I tried but I had 12 plant sog and suffered bud rot, hard to water at the back. Didn't get as much as I thought I would, but I'm sure that down to me and my skills. I just wanna see if I can do 3-4 plants on a perpetual cycle, but I only got one tent, don't have space for another one. I'm in winter at the minute so it'll be easier in the summer, when I can stick them in a window. Any ideas?

Cheers you awesome people

I use a small area outside my tent for seedlings and clones. It's just an empty shelf with two, 20watt led grow fixtures I found at Lowes. They are made for houseplants but work fine This gives me a space to start plants before moving them into the tent. Because these are young plants there's no odor to worry about. They work fine and this can serve as a veg station too if needed. Perpetual growing with autoflowers would be the easiest because you never need to adjust the light cycle.

@monkeydo cheers dude. Autos are something I've tried before. I've always had high heat problems, so had problems getting them adjusted in time. Also cost of electric. But makes sense as its the easiest way with out adding more things, right start looking at auto seeds. Many thanks.

Do you have a small cupboard or somewhere that you could keep seedlings. I have 3 tents but at the moment im only using my big tent but I also have a couple of smaller plants in a cupboard in the bedroom, it's a lot cheaper than having a 2nd tent on the go.

I chopped 2 plants yesterday but iv still got a plant in flower in my big tent on 12/12, So I put my little plants in there when the lights on then I move them back to the cupboard when the tent goes to bed.

I was using my £25 light off amazon in the cupboard, it's a 3 headed bendy light with a built in timer.  But I put my 100w light in there instead and the heat from the light keeps it warm, the dimmer switch acts as a heater control too, iv got it at 80% power, that's 80w, and it keeps it roughly 26c in there.

I dont use a fan or anything in the cupboard just a light for 6 hours and then I plug in my heated propagator to keep it warm in the 6 hours or darkness, it's very cheap to run and can keep the temp about 18c, a bit higher wouldn't hurt but it's good enough for me.I did use a small usb desk fan in there but it broke and iv never got round to buying another but it's doing fine without it.

But the autos route might be a better one right enough, iv only grown one auto so far.lol Good luck man 🙂

I was going to suggest the same as the guys above, and have moved in this direction. I decided to buy a an inexpensive tray with a tall, vented lid (about $15), and I put it on a thermostatically controlled seedling mat because it is cold where I am at (about $35 - I went with the Vivosun version and am glad I did). I put some cheap LED grow light strips on top of the dome (given to me, so $0). I use it for rooting all sorts of plants, and germinating seeds. Here is a look:

@stootie my tent is in my built in wardrobe, I thought about moving the seedlings in and put of the tent, but I don't always have time to bring them out (stealthgrow) and I thought about in the wardrobe itself but then if I get light leaks in my tent they will probably turn hermie. I think autos might be a good idea for my situation. Cheers for the info dude.

@im_sparky nice setup dude. When I get more space then I like this idea instead of buying new tents and stuff
