I'm trying to get going on my first grow. My seed is germinating and meanwhile I'm trying to get the conditions in my grow tent right. The tent is in my cellar where humidity is high and temperature is low. I am able to get humidity to about 65% with the fan and a heater on but struggling to get temperature above 17.5. I wonder how it is possible to get the heat up when the vent is pulling cold air in from outside the tent. I'm also confused about the advice to insulate the tent when it needs to have an air intake vent open

@tenthsam I use a heated propagator, so I can keep the geminating seeds at around 22C-24C and TH betweem 65% and 75% when they are in seedling stage. You definitively need higher temperatures if you want a good success rate when germinating

@tenthsam hi buddy , you need fresh air for the plants via a intake , play with the flap ,or get some duct and draw it over the heater ? , ideally a lung room would be the answer , as for insulation , think the tent as if its a fishtank kind ov ,wrap it up to keep the heat in as it rises ,should help you 😉

Thanks. The problem has been fixed by simply buying a small oil radiator and placing it in front of the intake. My little eco heater was just not enough.  It is a bit cramped in there now though
