going to try a few auto's outside this year in my veggie garden in between some dwarf tomatoes. the garden is well established and very fruitful. I live in Midwest America so I'm not sure when to put them out. We usually have cool wet spring weather. Than hot and humid first frost after mid-late Oct. I was thinking late May early June, that gives them up to 3 months of the most light and heat. Long before the Choppers start flying.

So if anyone has any experience maybe give me a few tips for auto cannabis, I know how to garden been doing it for 35 years. Thanks

@gixxerific Seems like you have the right kind of idea there mate. Most will wait for the last frost to pass, so a bit sooner than May. We have a few guys from Midwest, so same will have a better idea im sure lol.

@macky our traditional 90% last frost date is May 3 in my area. I normally put mators out in mid may (sometimes later), its not out of the question to get a frost late here. Plus I was thinking early June as mid summer we get 16-18 hours of light I know that autos need all they can get since they don't have time to fuck around.

@gixxerific, can you start them inside and get them established, then slowly move them outside and let harden to the sun? That way if there's a problem you can move them back in for a night.

@monkeydo yeah didn't think sorry about that, my bad. still you should see my collection it's bordering on insanity.

@woodi2 yeah I know all about hardening off. I'm more interested in the fact if auto's do good outside. My (younger) boss, the know it all and no matter how much proof you show him your still wrong kind of guy say's they won't do good outside since they need 20 plus hours of light and blah blah blah. I just want to show him he's wrong. I normally just smile and nod, it's easier. lol

Most of Canada grow autos @gixxerific, as we have too short of a cannabis growing season. It's not necessarily to do with harvest frost date either, it's to do with the cool damp/rainy nights which reek havoc on buds with such things as bud rot (botrytis), powdery mildew and slower growth to prolong the agony. Photos can be grown with the help of light deprivation, starting plants early indoors, choosing mildew resistant varieties, short maturation varieties. Container growing gives the option to bring the plants in at night. 🤠

We just smiled n waved sittn there on that sack o seeds

Hi guys,

Long standing guerrilla man.

For short season growing in the northern hemisphere autos are your best bet. From a average 3 month cycle you can time your grow to best growing months namely May / June / July / August. You are guaranteed a harvest unlike a photoperiods where it is touch and go and unfortunately most growers have to harvest early due to bad weather and mould come Sept / Oct.

If you want a definite harvest go auto.!!!

The guerrilla game is addictive so be warned.

Check out my YouTube channel for more info guys or insta.
