Suggestions Early Veg Trim

I've heard of folks doing a strip. Be interested how it does.

@budpirate that's incredible! Makes me feel better about defoliation on my plants.

I’m going to try that trim on one of my plants tomorrow . Never did that much defoliation before . Is there anything I should expect from that plant in recovery?

it will be interesting to see how it grows out. always good to have good working space underneath when growing big girls

When growers try that level of defoliation in veg they frequently panic at what the plant looks like for a while thinking they made a mistake. You’ll need to be patient and in about a week it starts to look more normal again. I no longer do a heavy defoliation  in veg in favor of a good lollipop done in early flower. The plant spent all that time and energy making those leaves so I let her use them as long as she can. Try it at least once and see what way you prefer or do a side by side comparison grow.
