Sup everyone. I have been doing some research for the summer outdoor grow and would love to get some opinions or advice from the grow room. I live in Southern Ontario...PM was a problem last summer, and so was a late finish. Basically looking for a strain (ya ya) that is PM resistant and finishes late August - Mid September. Found there to be a lot of contradiction on Google of course.

We are looking for a strong Indica, but that's not set in stone. The idea is to start the ladies up indoors, mainlining for 2 months and then transferring to 100G Super Soil pots outside (we aren't 100% about the last part, but it will at least be a variation of that). The goal is to grow a plant that needs to be cut down with a chainsaw in September.  A few cultivars seemed to be consistent with PM resistance and/or an "early" finish via Google....Durban Poison, Blueberry, Frisian Duck, Critical and Afghani. Anyone out there happen to have a "go to"? Or a few other suggestions!?

? ?

I am also from Southern Ont. of the varieties you have mention Frisian Dew was my first to get bud rot. I choose that strain because it was suppose to be resistant. Frisian Duck isn`t that much different?  Hindu Kush works great for me although it finishes mid October, it can take a couple frosts without worry and stays under 6ft.  PM was a real prob in the area so I would stay away from cheese cultivars for outdoor (personal choice). Critical plus did well for me.  this is a pic of my Shark Shock April 21. She finished at 10.5ft tall.  If your looking to hit over 6ft in height you best be getting them started now.

thank you.  I just realized I said April in that post when it should have been July though.

@phil Thanks for the great response brother, appreciate it. We were looking to pop them on the weekend. That Shark Shock looks beautiful, if I ate salad, it would be those leaves before lettuce.

good luck on finishing in Sept. I doubt any autos will accomplish what your looking for, but I plan on trying some this year.
