Hi All , I’m Goobstarr and as the title suggests I’m totally new to All of this....Big time smoker but never gone further than that. I suppose I’m on here for some advice...!?
I’m from Scotland and was going to try an Outdoor experiment of growing 1plant to see how I get on ...But after reading PercysGrow room rules I’ve been sort of put off already...My Big question is how Smelly it is going to be with just 1 plant in a small plastic greenhouse. If I was to smoke a jay out my backyard my neighbour would Defo smell it....!
Ive chosen Frisian Duck as my 1st seed as I was told it was a Good Easy Stealthy Non Smelly Variety. Any thoughts or anyone had Any experience with this Variety...?

Frisian Duck! I've heard of/seen it, but never run it myself. It's just like you say though - a good stealth plant since it barely even looks like ganja. A weird one for sure. Good for outdoors tho, mold/pest/frost resistant, so I've read...
@goobstarr Welcome to the Percy’s community mate. I’ve never attempted an outdoor grow as it’s to exposed for me but I did look into it as a hypothetical situation. Frisian Duck is one I considered also. There is also an autoflower version that will finish faster than the photo plants and has similar unusual looking foliage. I think it’s called Duck Auto. The other one I looked at was Quick One. It’s a very fast flowering auto so it’s a lower risk there but they are small plants and therefore lower yield and the leaves look like Cannabis. Personally I’m not into the risk, too much to lose, but if you proceed consider planting cover smells outdoors as well like basil and rosemary to name a couple. Any herb or strong smelling flower will help some. Your grow will also require daily attention so have some other container plants around so it won’t be odd to see you watering plants daily. I have tons of container plants outside so me handling water and such in view of the neighbors every single day is totally normal.

Welcome to Percys mate, If neighbours are close, then its not worth the risk mate. You might be able to get away with it, and they might not smell it, but thats unlikely, and not worth the risk.
No way you can bring this experiment in doors?

@goobstarr We all feel your pain mate. This is why we are here 😉 Growing your own is the best way, and its much easier to grow indoors than you think.

The best weed is your own weed. Period. You can even grow in a small space inside man. Check out space buckets....neat little things. May only grow an ounce but still yours lol. If you can do something inside I would try that if possible. Better to be safe than risk it.
