Has anyone used this for an outdoor grow? I know it lasts (nutrient wise) for “short” indoor grows but I’m curious if it would support a 6 month grow outdoors or does the soil need to be fed (eg molasses) or augmented with hydroponic chemicals? I ask because I’m about to mix up my soil for this summer - and would make a batch of it for one of my trees.

@binger I would think you need to top dress it with something for that long mate. TG says he uses top dressing after twelve weeks i think, but im not sure

@binger I've have used Templegrowers soil recipe for 2 going 3 years outside and indoor now. The most I've had to address would be a bit of mag deficiency. Which was fixed with top dressing of Epsom salts. From May to Nov in bigger pots in western Canada. 25 liter. Bigger pots helped with water retention and our winds from blowing over. Hope that helps in your decision making.
