@echo 5 GALLON pots minimum (17 liters). You will have poor results in a 5 liter pot with soil but it could be done in coco.

Having great results with Sohum in 25ltr pots...this is the recommended size for full veg/flower otherwise you run the risk of depleting nutes in the soil before plant finishes...

These two are at about week 6 of flower in the pics, week 7 ish now

@zn Awesome I can’t wait to get started now. So I’ve been watchin the podcasts and doing some research I’m not sure about bugs ?? Is there more of a chance with bugs if I use soil over coco?

Bugs and organic seem to go hand in hand...I have a KILL EVERYTHING system and it works very well, not for everyone but clean room, filter covered intakes, no pets etc. you will need some defences against the possibilities, like neem oil ? sticky traps too but deal with them if/when...

You can get bugs in coco too

I have seen gnats in my flower room and the odd white fly but they never seem to settle in, if you have a strong air flow in the room and let the soil dry out between watering.

some bugs are welcome in the flower room, not all bugs are bad.

The most dangerous bugs are going to fall off your cloths/hands onto the plants

(spider mites) and they destroy your crop.

moving the plants in flower runs a risk as the buds/plants rub up against your cloths

alway wash tools, pots and trays etc with bleach before using.

This is great advice for anyone wanting to keep there grows organic and add some sticky fly thing's in the room

I grow in a shed so I can't stop every small fly getting in my flower room.

I seive all my soil to remove all the roots and lumps, so the soil alway dry even

add about 20% sand, remove any run off so my top soil dry's out in 24 hours and I water every 3 days, so I should be ok but thanks again for the advice

my humidty is very low (30-40) and I have lollipop my lower canopy and thinned out the canopy to increase the airflow and increase light to the lower bud sites

Nothing wrong with your memory, lol...it needs to be sharp sand though, building sand is no good Smile
