Finally got my garden in. Better late then never lol. Had to dig out a shitload of weeds though.. stupid rhizomes buried way down there. Looks good now, except around the onions and chives there. Oh well. I put in carrots, spinach, lettuce (romaine and green leaf), some toi choi (like bok choi but smaller), and potatoes, along with the perennials. Marigolds and sunflowers as well, and there is some garlic in there too I had planted last year and forgot about. The pots have rosemary, lavender, dianthus, snapdragon, lemon balm, mojito mint, petunia, hemp nettle, hemp, marigold, and some small flowers I can't remember the name of. The hover-flies and solitary bees are loving them though!

Along the fence I have a tomato (not pictured) and some more garlic. One of them looks pretttttty weird though.. 😉. Gonna do some more but, not sure what yet. Maybe more flowers. We have some hanging baskets we made with petunias and some other flowers too. The yard looks great! You all should come by for a sesh! 😎

Saw my first green lacewing yesterday too! Awesome.

As an experiment, I planted a number of Hylocereus undatus (Pitaya blanca or white-fleshed pitaya) seeds last year. I ended up with three plants. I transplanted the seedlings into a 50/50 mix of Happy Frog and Ocean Forest amended with dolomite lime and epsom salts. Now two of the the three are growing their own 'mini me' plants.

This is awesome 👏

I usually like to grow strawberry plants, but 2 massive ones got destroyed by spiders last year and I'm back to only one small one. I've had chives growing for about 2 years 😂

your gardens are all going to look spectacular soon 🌱💐🌾🌽🍓

Had an issue with the pineapple. Research said repot it in poor soil, put it under a tree and ignore it..... potted it in some used coco and waited, we have fruit.

Still lots of time before it can be harvested but we’re on the way now.

They are well over 2 meters looking for 3. BTW, all organic grow on these. Blood, bone, cottonseed, and wood ash for now but will probably need some amendments soon because they are really growing fast.

Then there’s the Charlie Brown cannabis plant that’s been left to survive unprotected outdoors. She has looked better lmfao... but she will reach harvest

She was stunted early on so other more vigorous plants got her slot. The caterpillars have feasted on her and only bud remains. She will need a good wash before processing to edibles I think.

I grew the same pineapple plant for 5 years with no fruit and ended up throwing it into the composter to make room  but it was a fun experiment.

In progress for a while now, growing out last years Poinsettia from Christmas instead of tossing it in the bin. It’s been potted up into a 3 gallon pot in garden soil. Got ugly for a while when it dropped the old blooms. It’s filling out nicely and maybe one more nitrogen push to fill out the canopy. Around October 1 she will go in a tent at 12/12 and start flowering. Including the pot she is 90cm now.
