Hey guys, Just wondering is there many here that do this/have tried it.

Listening to the strain of the week Frisian Duck got me thinking. I have a suitable quiet spot.

Irish climate so very wet, What seems to work better? Big pot? Hole in ground filled with medium? I don’t think we would have a long enough summer for photos so thinking of trying an outdoor Auto....

Thoughts?

@rufio I haven’t got hardly any guerilla experience as I’m in the se (no quiet spots!) but did manage a go once ..

id definitely go autos as you’re much more likely to get them finished .. I’d still go with a faster type strain so avoid hazes / OG’s / notoriously difficult stuff.. stick with something known to finish quick and ideally be mould resistant ! The Frisian Dew for example (or whichever one is the auto version.. Duck’s the photo of I remember right?)

I helped my mate grow autos in his backyard last year and he pulled it off to a T ..

start indoors if possible start of May, planting out at end of May (not before)to avoid any late frosts..

Plants should be ready for harvest by end of August before temps drop and shitty weather returns ( I get in Ireland as here in Eng we always have shite weather 😉lol)

He grew in 10L felt pots but could tend them daily... if your grow is far away I’d be tempted to amend the ground and grow in the ground (less likely to suffer drought).

He grew white label (subsidiary co of Sensi Seeds) white skunk, which is a white widow strain.
He spent a total of £70 on 5 seeds, pots, compost, a bottle of seaweed and a couple bottles of tomato food and took 8oz for his trouble.
He made the error of skimping on the compost (against advice!) by only filling the pots 70% - if he has used more he would’ve taken at least 10os lol for £5 more compost.. he’ll be filling his pots this year!

The smoke was decent not indoor quality but did the job and cost him nearer £10/oz instead of £10/gram so he was pretty happy

Hope this is of some use to you Rufio bro and good luck with it.. I’d live to grow some sun-grown 😎

Time to pop some more beans 😗

@macky cheers man. You were right about getting in early, a lot of these seem to be out of stock. Looks like Dutch Passion discontinued the Auto Frisian Dew

@rufio I know a guy who started growin a plant in the house then he dug a hole outside and put the plant in it, he set some old window panes around it for shelter and just left it to do its thing, so I would imagine it would been an auto. That was in the north of Scotland where its cold, wet and windy most of the year, it wasnt a massive crop but it worked. Thats what made me finally start, I thought if he can get a plant to grow outside surly to fuck I can manage inside. I dont know what strain it was tho.

I shall definitely be having a go with Bereaved Caucasian Female Fluid Drive this summer. Not really a guerrilla grow, more a 'pop one in the fruit cage and hope the missus don't notice' grow really 😁

Time to grow old disgracefully.

This was how my first grow started, she figured it out within 2 weeks and then could really notice it in the last 3 weeks of flowering, no tent, no filter, pure exposure. Not good buds by any means but a great start.
