How much seed for it to become "native"?

I've had this thought, my idea was to get around 5k seeds and just scatter them all around the area and then for the preceding 5 years keep throwing another thousand odd seeds each spring. My objective is same as yours to try and have it as an established plant in the area. I'd like to say that after 10,000 seeds over 5 years they'd be a healthy supply of wild canna but in saying that if the fun police ever caught on they'd fkn blanket spray the entire area with agent Orange because devils lettuce is evil lol

I would love to try this in scotland but its scotland haha. Our summer are unpredictable and wet and then theirs the cold couldnt even tell you when our last frost is lol 

Not sure if theirs any strains out their hardy enough to be native to scotland hahaha 

@smokeymcpot would autos be a possibility? they got the genes of ruderalis from cold short sun areas?

@mcgrower im not sure mate ive heard its hard to get male autos. Apparently white widow does wel in growing season here be kl to have native weed to scotland hahaha

@smokeymcpot true, in that sense then you would have to start a whole breeding program hoping to get male autos then? (if you couldnt outsource).

wouldnt autos throw out bananas to self seed before the season ended? might be a good way to start something like that with only a few, i dunno. take a whole lot longer though
