@woodi2 @BubbleHok yall cranking me up.😂😂😂. Well i guess i am lucky to have all these toold available now. I am just hoping this being my first ever cannabis grow i nail em☺️. And pom dropped from 617 from yesterday to 440 now. Do i change the water now or wait a little. Also more whitehair popping up
@420chemist, change the water once a week. If your EC drops during that time, either add nutrients to your add back water, or remove a gallon of water (however much) from the system and add more nutrients to it and replace back into your system. If your using the 3 part and your starting flower just use the part 1 and part 3 when you add back. Those should be the micro and bloom. Part 2 is N, and you don't want that in flower, there enough N in part 1. I use them at a 1-2 ratio, 1ml part 1 and 2ml part 3. If it were my grow I would be adding back with Cal/mag first, 1/4ml-1/2ml per gal/4L, then 1ml part 1 and 2ml part 2, total, then bennies. I would add this to 5 gallon/19L and see how much it affects it, it's pretty low. But I start with this and increase it by 1/2ml increments till I know what it takes to get back to the EC that I want. It just takes practice. Then change completely ever 7 days. If the EC starts rising then you have too much nutrients and add straight water to dilute. If your starting flower then start slowly increasing your Cal/mag now, week 4-6 of flower, there will be a big demand for it. Good luck.
It might be considered a pricey piece of kit but I also love having a PAR meter. No more guessing at illumination levels and burning plants. There are some smartphone apps that some Percy Growers use to get the same confidence in light levels but since I don’t use them I can’t recommend any. Maybe someone will add that info in this thread.
While it’s nice to have a PAR meter, it definitely isn’t required to grow good cannabis. Once you get used to your tent/light it gets easier to keep the grow under control. My biggest mistake was too much light stressing the plants. I thought more light got bigger/tighter buds but it isn’t always that simple. One thing I’ll add is my plants like to have a level set and not have things changing daily. The plants will adjust to growing in what light they have as long as it isn’t beyond their ability to adapt.

@420chemist I have tried the photone app and found it worked well if you have the exact kind and manufacturer of paper covering the lens of the camera. It might not be exact as far as the real number of PAR is concerned but it is very consistent and that’s what you need. Once you learn what number your plants thrive in it’s easy to tune your space to that light level.

@420chemist, make sure you keep slowly increasing the Cal/mag. By the fourth week or actually a bit before is when she'll need the most Cal/mag and continue threw the next 3 weeks or so. So I start ramping up now. I'm in DWC and I want to be at 4ml+ per gal/4L at that point. But this is what I do, so good luck man. Hope this helps.
