Hi guys, going to be chopping this tonight but as its my 1st grow and I dont have much experience I am wondering if I have let it go too ripe? the trichs are cloudy and very few amber but the bud colour looks dark and theres no sign of rot. Whats your thoughts?

@gmac2k22 Most growers like to wait for ten percent ambers mate. Wait a little longer if you can but these look close to done to me

No hard rule since some of it comes down to personal preference.
10% amber as Macky mentioned is a good starting point, until you’ve honed in on your preference.
For me- if its an Indica or a heavy leaning indica hybrid I like 10%-15% amber, middle of the road hybrid 15%-20%, and then Sativa’s or heavy leaning sativa hybrids I prefer 20%-30% amber.

What did the breeder recommend for time and how do you compare? Look at the very bottom buds, the lowest, smallest ones, they are the last to finish. The rest of your plant looks good lots of green leaves, their not starving nor are they cannibalizing themselves so good work.

Hard to see everything in pictures and it's most likely nothing but I would watch this area
When leaves shrivel in only one area it's best to check. Gently tug on the leaves, they should not come off easily. If they do rot is probable there. It's probably nothing but I've had it happen to me a couple times and checking is simple and free so why not.
