Questions Dry ice for making hash help

I tried it for the first time a few weeks back, I got 3.5 kilo of 9mm dry ice pellets in a polystyro box for 28 Euro plus Vat, it got me through about 400 gram of fresh frozen trim over two days, it kept OK over night in the box in my cold garage.

if I have a kilo of fresh frozen material would you recommend I went for more dry ice ? 
i found a company that does dry ice sticks for food and cocktails 3.5kg for £27 inc next day delivery 

I’m guessing a whole plant fresh will be over a kg..? Never weighed wet before lol

Since it's your first go as well I would suggest to get the 3.5 kg like I did and start from there, it's a fair bit of shaking and it gets really boring 🤣 

Keep the material you use and dry it to use for ISO later if you like that stuff

Forgot to say that I probably used more dry ice than really needed but it was the smallest amount I could get plus it did evaporate a bit overnight as well. 

@chillbert, Hey, I've found a 10lb wet plant gives about 1lb or slightly under, sorry I didn't do the conversion. There's a video or more on the u-tubs that shows a guy and a Saws-All connected to a empty paint bucket, mesh screen over the open bucket that has the weed and the dry ice, sit and shake. It's suppose to produce more (quantity) than the bubble. Bubble is suppose to be better quality thou , not by much. I was going to do dry ice but I had everything to do bubble for free. dry next time.

I usually buy in a few bags of ice at £1 a pop so this is just 10 times more expensive but should be a lot easier / quicker ! (I hope) and get more quantity out too (more hope)
