I normally do a hash run once or twice a year, using the Frenchy Canolli method. I had a freezer full of trim and was long overdue for one.

The end results have been put in the freezer and will be chopped finely once frozen, then dried. I'll post some pics in future.

@chillbert yeah I use the hot water jar press method, well usually one of the missis' empty wine bottles 😂

The washing machine I bought about 3/4 years ago, off of e bay. Was less than £50 at the time. Well worth it👌

Can I ask what benefits there is to freezing before drying?

@hg91uk I guess it's the easiest way of handling it. It's a lot easier to pick up and chop or grate when frozen. Try doing that at room temperature and it will end up a sticky gooey mess. In Frenchys method he freezes the hash so he could finely grate it for the drying process.
